Yes, this is the video for the original Wii Fit Girl. Lauren Bernat was videoed by her boyfriend while doing the hula hoop challenge.
I have to admit that when I chose the name, I did not know anything about the video. After I registered the domain, I found the video, and wondered if I could compete with such a pretty young lady in her underwear.
Since there is such an interest in Ms. Bernat, I will attempt to sum up the Wii Fit Girl story.

The video is discovered by Lauren when she walks into her boss’ office.
Lauren becomes furious at boyfriend Giovanny Gutierrez! Calls and screams at him and hangs up.
Video temporarily removed from the internet, but not before 20,00o people viewed it. Lauren then gave her blessing to repost the video.
Librarian from Long Island contacts couple upset that she would be confused as Wii Fit Girl since their names are identical.
Lauren is invited to appear on popular MTv show TRL, which she accepted.
Wii Fit Girl video assumed to be a viral advertising campaign by Nintendo since the couple are in the advertising field. Couple denies any ties with the gaming manufacture.
Lauren and Giovanny appear on the Tyra show, where it is Giovanny’s turn.
Ms. Bernat now has here own web site where she blogs about the Wii Fit Girl experience as well as other stuff. Check it out!
